i'v got an 38mm keihin carb on my 2000 it also is a big bore 72mm and it runs good sometimes but seems to be geting to much gas witch way do i adjust my float to slow down the gas. i am an ok mec but this is my first blaster and first keihin carb please help i need it thanx kirkman79

the only reason you would need to adjust your float is if its running out the over flow or if your starving your fuel bowl. If its causing it to run rich its most likely a jetting problem

Keihin Carburetor Tuning

I'd clean it real well and check it while I'm at it. If it's correct I'd leave it alone.

if its unported theres a good chance your probably overcarbing your setup and getting lowend response/torque lag,sometimes you can jet it out by leaning the needle clip and pilot
