KarterPhil's 02 rebuild

Fair play man! There a nice wheel but not sure how they will hold up off road!

They are utility wheels so i am pretty confident, we have bashed the stock rims around on the farm with our own private MX track and enduro track and they held up fine so i expect these to be ok

I got the top arms done in a titanium silver rather than the chrome effect i was originally considering as we have found it doesn't hold up too well to oil and dirt. :-/

I also have dry assembled the front end to see how it all looks and fits. I:I

Just a couple of tools i made as i really didn't want to spend more money, left one is a con-rod holder/retainer and the right one is a crank puller

Gonna try and sort the top end tomorrow after I make myself a crows foot to torque the cylinder nuts correctly, peace out ;)

Well, I haven't posted on here in a while so I thought I would add some pics of the progress I have made as I finished the motor re-build today so here they are :

I didn't get a photo of the finished thing but i will get one tomorrow. Peace out !

Good job Phil, that light at the end of the tunnel is now that much brighter!

Cant wait to see it out ripping up the trails!

Hey Guys, just a little update on the re-build, I have been busy recently so it has been on hold unfortunately :(, but not to worry as i will be back at it tomorrow. :D

Hi all, its been a while but thats because I have been having issues with manufacturing the pivot tubes for my swing arm firstly the cost was going to exceed $300 for them to be precision machined which in my eyes was just plain ridiculous so I have decided for now to buy a KOR T-Rock +2 until I can get access to the cnc lathes and milling machines when im off to university in september when I can continue the development of it and may be able to sell a few to blaster folks over here in the UK to avoid that VAT and Import duty. Peace out !

Hey guys, Happy new year BTW, just thought I would mention it :D. Its been nearly a year since I did anything big on the blaster due to work commitments etc and a lack of any damn money as Uni is sucking it all out of me, however now I am into some money I can continue. I have exams next week but after that I'll get going again and hopefully finish her.
