1986 honda 250r. It was pretty mint. He was on his way to sell it for $2000.

that thing is rough, BUT still worth a lot of money, everything except the pipe and rear tires

and it looks like its missing the grab bar

nice trike and worth alot of money sense the majority is OEM

he could sell those rear plastics, take shrouds and front fender for close to 2gs if he could get the right buyer

so basicly if those plastics were referbished they could bring in the same amount of money as what he is asking for the trike alone

my dad bought and set of oem plastics for 300$ sanded down with large to FINE grit and buffed them till they looked brand new, now there worth pretty big money AND thats the oem seat which is worth alot too, you need to hunt that guy down, and buy if, you could make some serious profit

those oem parts are worth some serious chedda

everything is stock he said except fmf pipe..and it has a mild port... tires have studs in them for winter..and the grab bar is there.... he has another one that is museum quality and never rode with original crate instructions in his basement..... I dont have $2,000 to offer him... but the bike looked amazing in person.... everything was very clean...

nah dude, that thing is rough, i can tell from the pics, its in fair condition, but the tank is milky looking but thats a common problem with 250rs that sat outsie which i can tell you, that one did, those rear tires are not stock

when we got our 250r, the tank was solid white, sanded it, buffed it for like a week, everyday.......and it looked brand new, those plastics are slightly faded

i can tell you, it has been sitting outside

but it is in fair condition

thats the one... he was driving it from here... to barrie to meet someone that was driving from london to buy it.... he was in the factory recreation parking lot when i was there and he came out as i was checking it out in the back of his pick up..

he told me he would sell the museum one too... but that it was worth a lot of money... i guess someone sold one that was still in a crate for like 40,000

OHHHHH thank you whitty, much btter pictures, and its in better condition than i thought

OEM tires too, those are high dollar, rear plastics broke so there no good

oem shrouds, front fender, headlight plastic and tank worth a pretty penny and seat cover is in good condition

everything else people arent buying for big money

seatcover
front anr rear tires
tank, shrouds, front fender, and healight
grab bar

those are the main money items that could be sold for pretty big profit

overall nice bike

Not to argue... but i looked at this machine with my own eyes..... and i take pictures of cars for a living its very hard to tell... i can take a complete sh*tbox dirty inside and out car and make it look good online with the proper angles etc...

For being the same age as my girlfriend...that thing was in pretty mint shape... maybe not museum 10 outta 10... but easy 7-8..

if you can find a 250r in crate for that cheap be taking out loans and scouping it up FAST

a brand new IN THE CRATE 85 250r was on ebay about 5 months or so ago, went for 70,000 DOLLARS!!!!!!

ok yea that was the one he was talking about... but i guess it didnt end up actually selling or something.... but yea... this guy has three of them... this one... one thats in a bit better shape...and then the museum one... he has owned this one for 15 years, and the other ones almost 20 years........

I honestly thought he was gonna drop it out the truck in the parking lot and lemme ride it.. he was sooo stoked about the bike.... i think he wouldnt have sold it to someone inless he thought they would at least ride it.... but maybe.... i emailed him and asked what he wants for that museum one.....

no crate.... but it looks like its 100% original etc... i dont know much about it.. but he was telling me that its musuem quality and never been rode..

ohh thats a real nice trike, all oem, worth about what he was asking for it, i thought you ment it was still in the crate, but thats deff and nice clean bike

Looks nice, but wouldn't for long if I got ahold of it. Museum-quality only until it got filled with 93 octane/AMSOIL and it hit the nearest trail. :D

Wonder how much more it's really worth in light of the fact that this 250r comes with a special, 1986-only Invisible Chain?
