Just got my head from KOR. Got it put on within 20 minutes after it arrived. I cant believe how much of a power difference it makes. Not really sure what to do next. The only thing I can think of it tear it down this winter and send the motor to KOR for his +6 crank and 240 kit. I was thinking about a +4 degree timing advance. Is it something I should do? or is it something I shouldn't waste my time with. What exactly does timing advance do?

Dont waste time on the timing advance.

Did you leak test it? New head gasket? it doesnt sound like you did if you put it on and went straight to riding...

I wouldn't run a blaster without the timing advanced. If you want to make power you need to get that power from anything you can. Advance timing on a properly setup engine is no big deal.

I didn't put a new head gasket on I annealed the old one. I took it out for a spin once to see if there really is a good improvement. (ME LIKEY) Today I will go leak test it just to be sure. I don't think anything leaks. I Know it idles real nice now.

How long did it take you to install? It took me 1 1/2 hours. The first hour was spent looking at it and saying ,wow
!

I know what you mean. I spent I good 45 minutes looking at it. I was so happy wheni got it I took it in and showed my wife. She just kinda rolled her eyes and laughed at me.

LOL, thats the same reaction I get from my wife when I get all giddy over my new toys.

Funny, that's the reaction I get from my wife too. I'm also so excited about stuff, gun stuff, quad stuff, mountain biking stuff, I go show it to her in genuine excitement and she rolls her eyes and laughs. :) Good to know they're mostly all alike.

I know. But she does take the blaster out every now and again. I give her sh*t whenever she does because she wont pull out like a normal person. She has to do a wheelie

My son and I working together can swap out a hot head in about 15 minutes,
all the time saying: "ouch, ouch, hot, hot, hot..."

The whole point of a rechambered head is to allow the highest peak pressure and quickest burn possible without detonation.
If you can advance timing, you are not there with your compression ratio, squish and head shape yet.
Advancing timing is to start the ignition early for slow burning engines.
A well designed engine with the right mixture and maximum tolerable compression will require very little timing advance.
