Just got a 400ex rear shock

$14 on ebay. Looks a little muddy. Lets hope it works fine...well for $14 I guess I can't lose.

Is there a big diff from the 400ex shock and a 450r shock? im 6'3 and 210lbs..and i wanna beef up my rear on the Blasty.

Not sure maybe different spring rates. I think they sell stiffer springs for the 400 shock.

thanks,im gonna have to check that out. im suprised the stock spring is actually working great and hasnt bottomed out to much and i jump often with it. Just a lil soft for me.

you have to mod the shock in order for it to fit you also need to kinda change the bushings and add spacers. if your looking for an easier fit i would go for the 250r rear shock they fit much easier and perform much better

Just got it today. As I thought, shock looks to be in great shape, a bit dusty/muddy but it will clean up. Just will have to see how it rides.
