Just can't figure it out

well guys i give up i just dont know whats wrong. its something with the electrical i am thinking ignition coil but not sure.
anyways here are some pics of the wires and how the bike sits now.
I can't seem to find where some wires connect to

hey bro in that 2nd to last pic....it looks like the bottom black/red wire is connected to the black/white wire.....and the black/white right next to it, is hooked into the black/red on the top, could be ur problem there

Thanks freek that might be it ill have to check tomorrow and see if they are connected right

if you have an extra green wire from your stator you are susposse to ground it.and i tihnk the blue wire in the first couple pics could possibly be to th voltage reg.

well i printed up a schematic of the wiring system and it did say that it goes to the voltage regulator, i looked and saw a blue wire leading away from there but its cut as you can see in the pic

yea yellow and green is ur headlights and the blue is the voltage regulator....as stephy said

cutup an old extension cord and get the wires outta it and use them to run new wires to the broken ones

or you can bum like 5-10 bucks tops from your mom and dad to go buy a little roll of wire and some butt connectors

why not, the 3 wires in extension cord is a heavier guage wire than the stock ones anyway, and its free lol

The blue wire down by the motor is for the rear tail light.The blue wire under the hood is already tied into the yellow/red which comes from the stator.

The blue wire you have by the motor originates from the lights/dimmer switch.

ok so i should be able to cut that wire straight off then

yes you should be able to get rid of it.Until you get it running I would just tape it off and forget about it for now.Once everything is up and working fine then you can safely cut out all unused wires.

Ok with that in mind the problem is getting it started, I know the motor itself is fine because it was rebuilt and gone through while at kennedys so its not that.
