just bought me a FMF fatty gold series pipe and need to know jetting questions

like the title says i got me a fmf pipe and silencer for $100 shipped

and i want to know what size jet i should get the rest is stock and i cant find a jetting kit for a stock carb. i live in southern IN if that helps out and i want to know if any one here has some jetting kits they want to sell me also so please let me know

they say to buy genuine jets. if u look at they jets in ur carb there r some kind of mark besides the number. jetsrus.com does not have those marks.and when i bought my jets from jets r us they didnt have those marks. but they still seem to be workin.

alright should i just buy the Genuine Mikuni main jet size 270 and what size pilot jet should i get

imnot sure if u should mess with the pilot. whatever ur main is now just increase it but they say to start high and go down, i just wouldnt start to high. u may have to change the pilot but i would try to get it goin good with the main and then the pilot i would think.

right on man, always start high and work your way down

also the stock pilot jet is 32.5 but u prolly dont need to change it

if u have the patients then i would just buy a couple of sizes bigger then the main jet u already have. say ur main jet size is 180, then u should get like a 185, 190 and maybe 195 but it maybe to rich.

well i think it varies on where ur machine was purchased. best bet is to take ur carb apart abd take a look at both jets and record the size.
