after 4 hours of working on a snowmobile rear suspension, every morning you wake up, you should give thanks to blasters being wheel driven.

Sad part is, not even done yet, still a few hours left for next weekend

just need to change out a front sprocket and shaft bearing, put new sliders on, then the hardest part of putting it back together.

and yeh antec, i know....... lol, been busy and broke lol

well, this is how far we had it torn apart/ Pretty much back together, just have to play with the secondary clutch, clean the carbs, and then adjust the track tension

cleaned the carbs tonight, putting them back on i noticed a rip in an intake boot, there is another 90 bucks for my brother. We arnt catching many breaks here, but thats the game you play with used snowmobiles

or anything used! I have had troubles with some used stuff too. Bought a suzuki quadrunner 250, it needs two new $250 driveshafts. I hope you catch a break sometime though!

Thank god we dont get enough snow to need one.

My cousins had a few and it seemed like they were always broke down or in need of something to repair on them.

Good luck bro

Its alive! got it running today, had a hanging idle and acting weird, but found the issue in the carbs, Adjusted the idle and all. the it started running on one cylinder, but i checked ant the one plug lost spark, quick change and it was all good. Thing RIPS for sure.

just gotta get some time on it as soon as we get a bit more snow so the track can stretch out and be tightened some more

also, the secondary clutch needs another spacer or two cause it is rubbiing, but that is a quick fix and will be done tomorrow

biggest pieces of sh*t to work on. NOTHING is accessible without taking SOMETHING off first. and i will get a ride vid when we get some more snow, maybe during testing tomorrow if we do test. I am just as excited to use my buddies $500 torque wrench as i am to ride the thing lol

well, we thought we had it fixed, then i almost died when it took off on me and almost threw me into a telephone pole. Lobe up the cable, then it did it again on my brother, sled flew him across the road into the ditch, then again coming out. After a closer look, the idiot before us routed the throttle cable stupid, and it didnt have much play cause they also put a bar riser on. Re routed and moved the throttle in a bit, and its running grat now and no one is dead! i call that a win. Also, it is really canadian now casue there is hockey stick tape on the handlbars

haha i assembled a skidoo summit 1000s motor and installed it and ran it in 2 hours. just givin ya crap i work on sleds alot. you will get better at it as you work on them more
