is this a rip off or what?

thats similar to a product called a "scary fast", i think the theory behind it is that ......
1 - it puts all the air to the bottom of the slide while under half throttle
2 - it didvides and shapes the air into a cleaner stream instead of swirling air without it,
i'd like to see if it really does help at all?????

edit.....
heres what the one "scary fast" says..........

PowerNow™The POWERNOW PLUS™ works by controlling the air stream after the slide. In a stock carburetor, at lower throttle openings (idle to 1/2 open), the air expands or “breaks” into the larger area quickly as it passes through the carburetor, and is uncontrolled, not achieving maximum productivity. By reducing the area in front of the slide via the trademarked POWER NOW PLUS™, slicing this air into two smaller masses, the air does not break as far, and cannot spin, it is forced to move forward filling the cylinder in the shortest time and making the most power at lower throttle openings. The result is instant power gains.

That's my theory, too. It reminds me of the "Tornado" performance enhancer that they used to advertise for cars and trucks. This device was supposed to vastly improve fuel economy, throttle response, driveability....

As it turned out, several reputable organizations (such as Popular Mechanics, Consumer Reports, etc) tested these 'intake charge boosters' (for cars) when they first came out. All of them did little or nothing to boost engine performance. At that price (WOW!), I'd definately pass. You can find a nice Keihin or Mikuni 28mm flat-slide carburetor for $ 89.99 on ebay if you look. This is one mod that will make a Blaster run better.

i wasnt endorsing it, just showing a little more info, and as for the 28mm carb, i have a 34mm kehien on its way, that should give me a little boost, ha???
