is it ok for a yamaha blaster to smoke while riding and idling?

blue tint to the smoke? if so then yes, its a 2 stroke, its supposed to smoke a bit (unless you use a smokeless oil)

if its white and smells just horrible, you are probably burning transmission oil and have a clutch side crank seal leaking

a smokeless oil???
and it shouldn't really smoke. it means one of three things.
1) bad crack seal
2) premix is too rich
3) jetting is off

yes it will smoke some during start up, but was warm it should not smoke at all.

idk wat ur smoking?????(Lol punI:I) Blasters will always smoke no matter what you are doing. they will smoke a little worse during warm up and then you should have a steady mild smoke coming out. If it doesn't smoke that is a bad thing and you need to get more oil to your engine some way

My Blaster makes exactly no smoke at all. It used to though. I'm pretty sure I don't have smokeless oil, either. I guess I better figure out why.

ok thanks guys for the help.... u r probably thinking that im an idiot but its my first blaster and i dont want it to blow within a month...
