Its an apple. They dont get viruses. lol I dont know anyone with an I phone thats gotten a virus. I have a mac g4 and some friends with macs and they have run awesome for over 5 years.

I'm thinking of jailbreaking my phone but I'm a little scared to do it. I don't want to do something wrong and mess my phone up. I know very little about jailbreaking. I don't want it to make my phone freeze up,crash or something.
I seem to not be able to copy eBay item links. I can copy and past CL links but it don't work when I try it on eBay.any help?

you know the reason mac dont get virus is becuase almost all virus are made to attack certain OS. like i had windows ME, never got a virus because not maybe people used it and virus were not programmed to attack that OS.

You dont have to worry about Jailbreaking your phone.
iOS 4.0.1 had an exploit in the way mobile safari handled a PDF, they fixed that on 4.0.2 which you cant jailbreak, and now 4.1 is out, you cant jailbreak that one YET, but you will be able to.
If youre concerned about "security" wait until 4.1 has a jailbreak, update to it, then jailbreak that.

the thing about the apple iphone is its a standalone server or some sh*t and it is impossible to get a virus by surfing the web, i cant remember exactly what it is but u are protected i know that. i had asked the same question and someone told me about why you cant get a virus or hacked
