Another reverse blaster

06 blaster running in reverse ive been thru 4 stators half a dozen woodruff keys still it only goes in reverse .
It will sit and idle it actually runs better than alot of other bikes that ive seen but when u pull jn the clutch and drop it into gear it only goes backwards . Any help wiuld be greatly appreciated

Place the blaster in 2nd or third gear, and push start it. That should make it crank in the right direction. Just saying

This is very puzzling to me and not the first time I've heard of it. About the only thing I can think of if the flywheel key is sheared. I've owned 250Rs for years and have never had this happen with them. Engine running backwards can only be a timing issue.

Just figured something out, there must have been a big batch released with the magnets clocked wrong, What I did that worked instantly, take all the screws out that hold the magnets in place, move all 4 magnets advanced one spot on the flywheel and screwed them back down ( may need a heat gun to get the glue to release, most will move ) Also the direction I moved the magnets is the way the arrow is pointing on the other side.
