inside the intake boot there is a little lip so i ground it down even dont know if its gunna make much a diff...but hey more flow the better right I:I

was thta lip in teh round part of the intake? about say.. 1/2 inch back from the carb side?

that would be the lip..prolly butts right up to the carb

uhhh you sure you didn't cut ouit the ridge that "holds" the carb?
