installing burgard a arms...questions

i recently got my bolts back from the plating place so now im ready to start assembling, last night i got the heel guards and footpegs on, now im ready to put the burgards on....there brand new and the dust seals are dry, what kind of grease is recommended on them? also they dont have any grease fittings, do they need to be periodically greased or how do they work? will i have to remove them if i ever want to regrease them?

let me know how these work...ive never had a set.

they do not have a grease fitting

if no grease fitting then i would put some grease in them and put them on.i would say grease them every other month or so

white litheum grease will work

or if your good with tools buy some small zirks and drill and tape a hole and screw em in...not to hard

those burgards sure were hard to get fit into the boxes....it was like they were "OFF" a little bit....they were wayyy to tight on the insides...it felt like when i was trying to bolt them up the mounting shafts were to far in and should of been push away and out from each other more. i wasnt really happy with the install, they fought me pretty good for about 40 minutes just to get them to squeeze into the mounting boxes, both mounting holes wouldnt go into the boxes at the same time

not trying to call you dumb or anything but are you sure you put the right one on the right side and the left one on the left side? When i got my ASRs i did the same thing, i was getting so pissed then figured out i was trying to put the right one on the left side.

yep there on the right side....if there not you make the wheel stance come in towards the rider
