The 200x, Robin Davis tore it up on one, Ladies in pink. The AMA rules that the blaster class is air cooled go back to those days. A class was made for the 200X, people started destroking and sleeving down watercooled 250 r's... the aircooled rule was implemented to return parity to the class. When we did the 1000, it was in class 23, 200cc atv. Score didnt hae the aircooled rule, we had one of the destroked 250r's in our class. We kicked his azz with a blaster :)

Would have been so cool to be around then and see all that playing out.
I was definitely born in the wrong time..... my generation sucks.....

Iv read many times about the "200r" lol.. I wish powroll was still around, they had some wicked stuff for the 200x back in the day, hell even sparks had a 200x exhaust, now I'm limited to dg an cobra.. Cobra pipes make noise, dg makes power,

When it comes time for me to get a pipe I'm gonna do some searching an see if I can track down a powroll or sparks pipe, I think ctz?? Had one also, and I'm sure fmf did, a yoshi off road shorty like I had on my 400ex would rock! Shave more weight

bump....... good info!!!!

I used to want an 86 200x so bad.

I finally got to ride an 85 this summer and well it was a huge disappointment. slllooooowwwww as hell. It seemed to take little jumps ok but the suspension was pretty soft. Of course at the time I was used to riding a yfz450.

The power isn't so much the differance, lighter, stronger, better suspension, lower center of gravity...

There by no means fast, but they are a blast on tight trails an rivers in winter

my old honda 3 wheeler was a friggin blast . wish i never sold it

I love them!!! Soooo much fun hangin sideways around corners hangin off the side of the machine!!! You truly 'ride' a 3 wheeler.. Not like quads.. Takes much more skill to keep a trike up right than a quad... But if you know how to ride a trike quads are that much more fun,

Since yu carry over the riding style from the trike you can ride a quad that. Much harder, the form for being sideways on 3 wheels alows for you to be that much more sideways at a faster speed on 4 wheels
