I'm stumped need help please

2002 blaster all stock pipe, open air box, tors removed. Jetting is 230 and 32 Runs with choke on take choke off goes lean and away she goes. "Wide open" I am a pretty experienced 2 stroke guy. I have new reed and carb gaskets. And a little silicone . Can't find any air leaks any were been throgj carm many times I have exhausted about all my options any help is gratefull

or is it a cone filter/fitted directly to carb?

I don't have the lid will it make that big of diffeance .and the oil injection is removed mixing 32:1

is the oil injection nipple on carb blocked off?
is the top cover twisted tight?
by taking the lid off airbox you are supposed to up the main jet
free flowing gas from tank to carb?
what is the airscrew set at??

you used a leakdown tester ?

what float height and airscew settings ?
stock pilot jet ? removed and cleaned ?

Air screw is at 2 1/2. Oil injection port is blocked. Top cover is tight and has its seal. It has acted funny sometimes but does tighten up. Good flow from tank. And I don't feel the air box lid would lean it out far enough rev up the way it does

I'm gonna guess that's a no.

Then you can't know that there's no air leaks.

you determined that 2-1/2 turns out airscrew setting using the guide ?.............

put the airscrew at 1 1/2 turns=540 degrees then adjust your idle.....turning idle to right will increase it..try it and come back on lol
you have way to much air going in that thing imo
in one way or another/or not enough gas

A leakdown test is a necessity, and so is upping the main jet with the lid removed and premixing

i can screw the air screw all the way in very small diff. Will find a air box lid just can't see that making that big of diffeance. But will see. like I say it will run and idle with choke on just rich take choke of and there she goes seems to be getting air from some were can't figure out were

well you have a airleak or effed up carb fuel problem
what type of plug?gap?
you also need a small screwdriver so the head does not hit carb body to turn it all the way closed lol

I would check around the reed cage. You just replaced the gasket? Maybe over torqued the bolts?
