everyone should wear a helmet though its just smarter, but like 245 said we have already had a helmet debate on here before...

Rule, or no rule, the issue about posting vids of riders not wearing helmets should be addressed.
I do not condone the posting of such material, as it sets a bad example to the younger set as they too may choose to be "cool", and maybe loose their life or become a vegetable because of it.
Helmets are like condoms, wear one or be prepared to suffer the consequences.
In my opinion, allowing the posting of vids with riders not adhering to a safety code, is promoting danger..
What you do in your own space is your choice, if you choose not to wear a helmet, so be it, but let me tell you I makes me sick in the stomach when I see kids here not wearing a helmet.
I have seen so many lives ruined, let us promote the wearing of safety gear, our children are far to precious to have anything happen to them.

save your breathe blaaster, some of these guys would rather power trip, and do not get it, one day when someone they know, or their child, is drooling tomatoe soup down his chin, getting his wheelchair pushed into the race track to see others do the sport he used to love doing, maybe then they will remember you and I on here trying to promote helmet safety,

Lets get this issue into perspective.
The issue is not to worry about what people do in their own time and on their own land.
We as individualls have no right to say wether you or your family, should wear a helmet or not, it is purely your choice.
The issue is that, should we, as responsible BF members condone the posting of vids or pics of riders without adequate head gear.
My vote is that all riders in uploaded vids and pics, will be using adequate head protection, otherwise they be deleted.

my 12 year old step son, will soon come to the forum and see his blaster and photos.
Hes gonna be asking about that stuff.
And no offense, but all the additional posts about helmet no helmet, is really taking away from my introduction and for my step son and my other family member who will some see, linked thru facebook.
Im sorry to be a old yahoo. But In the concept of trying to preach and believe and promote safety, It was done so at the exspense of my own thread.
Im trying to understand some of you, one day, you lean to the right, the next day you lean to the left. It's a bit like walking on egg shells.

Please man get a helmet for your son! Very nice blaster and i do like the derby cars, that tron car trips me out!
I hope your not one of the parents that don't care if your child rides with a helmet, but then will sue the land owner or township for the accident the young man had!
