Hi all !

We just picked up a used 2001 blaster 200cc for $500, blown top end. I will soon be taking the cylinder in to get bored and get a new piston and rings.

I have only dealt with 2 cycles, years ago when I had a snowmobile.

The blaster will be my step sons.

Here our some pictures of it.

We also got with it, a frame, front wheels / rims. seat, two gas tanks and fmf muffler and pipe. and a few other parts.

I'd like to redo it, and find a card and motor and do up another one.

here is some pics of it.

u better not have been to the derby downs in akron right by my house and the goodyear blimp and best of all the strickalnds. and not say hi to me in the crowd sheesh.... haha lol man welcome aboard

welcome, looks interesting, lucky kids to have a dad building all their goodies :)

one thing that got me however (not to be negative) is that swingarm and shock lying in the dirt...that freaks me out!! :)

welcome to BF.
all those quads look to be in good shape and clean for their ages
and yes..... those are some lucky kids !

UPDATE:

With the JB weld holding on the crank cases. ( I am in the works of buying a set) will tear down and do right in the near future.

In the mean time. The step son got to ride today, the blaster for the 1st time.

The other one he rode, was a automatic. So its a learning process for him right now.

He just takes it easy, around the yard.

So here is a video clip of it running for basically the 1st time.

I do see hoe the Tors is a bit of a pain, tune and adjust that, also means adjusting the carb ! they go hand in hand.
