I'm in trouble guys I need help quick!!!

Ok, here's my situation. I get the blaster out today for the first time in a while. I've been working alot and havent had time to ride lately so its just been sitting in the shed. I did add some hoses to it the other day. I found some blue hose at work and put it on all the vents on the carb. then I get it out today and it was hard to start and when it did it would die as soon as I give it gas. So I ripped the hosses I added off and it started a little better and accelerated better but it overall is still running like dog sh*t. And I'm on a really tight time frame as I leave for silverlake thursday night or at the latest friday 3am!!! And I really dont want to keep having to start it as I now have twisted my right knee and have to get off the quad and kick it with my left foot! Here's a sample pic of the hose I'm talkng about theres one at the same place on the other side. I didn't have any hose on it at all to start with and thats where I'm at now I dont even know what this hose is can anybody help me out?

No, both of them are open. That pic is just one I got off of google mine dont even have the hose should it? I think I found the problem though I went to take the carb off and found that the rubber part of my intake is ripped completely in half. but I would still like to kmnow what I am supposed to do with those vents

well, if you found that your intake boot is ripped off then I think that is your problem. Its got a leak there and its not getting gas or air. Those air boots are kinda expensive $65.00 is the price for new OEM and most shops have to order one. I know that d.jack has a stock sized one in good condition that he may want to sell and could maybe overnight it for a few dollars more. shoot him a PM.

That would be ok if I had a stock carb but I sold mine I need an intake for a 34mm. I can use my old intake though its a 34mm but I really like the pro design better.
I really need to know what to do with those vents now. Should I plug them, leave them open, plug one????

you say its a 34mm, NO dont plug them your problem is somewere else, if you can put hoses on both sides and dont plug any. if you tip the carb enough gas will come out of those vents, so dont plug them

You say it's been a while since you started it. Have you checked the float bowl? I's amazing the crap that can almost magically appear in a bowl, especially when it's had a chance to dry out. A can of carb cleaner is a wonderful thing...but that boot is a serious issue...
