i had my idle set all the way down to the point where it did not idle so i did not destroy plugs. i noticed that my idle is wayyy up. im going to try to turn it down again but i dont know why it would go up like that

Definitely sounds like a possible air leak.

Check that picture out. Really helps explain to what extent the air screw will affect your bike.

why would idling destroy plugs? plug fouling is caused by improper jetting , lugging the engine a lot etc . Also if you are running the stock oil injection , you could foul plugs due to the inconsistant mixture of oil and gas as well. If your idle suddenly changed , or the revs are hanging ( taking a long time for them to come back down ) its a indication of a airleak , and that airleak will burn up your piston real quick .

mmm yes i agree with Blastard, thats like putting duct tape over oil warning light on your dashboard...the symptom is gone but the problem is not...you need to do a leak test and learn something about jetting...search the stickys
