I recently Had a skirt break on me, its a must to split the cases.... I had debris in the bottom of the rod that needed picked out. I couldn't see it without splitting the case. its not too hard of a project, but if you need help please go to youtube and watch kens videos of how to put the engine back together.
Its really not a hard process. Take your time, do not rush the job. Take pictures as you go, heck set up a camera to watch what your doing. some things that are a must are the correct tools!:

I'm still worried about lose I g stuff out of there and balancing everything me and my buddy tried to split a kdx 200 and springs and sh*t shot out every where at us and we lost alot of sh*t
complete off the old topic but I cant figure out how to make a new post so my friend has a blaster and the rod the clutch cable is connected to keeps breaking.it works for a month or 2 and then the rod it presses rubs a groove it it and we don't know how to fix it please help.
