ok i want to put a a/m axle on my blasty but the one i got is a pre 2003 model. so can i get a set of 88-02 bearings and seals and load my '04 carrier with them and run the axle in the 04 carrier or do i need a pre 2003 carrier? thanks guys I:I

that would be fine since i do have one sittin here but i dont see a difference in them lol. aybody else wanna chime in?? someone has to have tried this :-/
If you run hydro's you will need your 03+ carrier, I believe the axle's are swappable bettween the two styles so you should be fine.
yeah thats my issue, i run hydros so i want to keep my current carrier. i think the carriers are the same the bearings is where the difference is?
I always thought that there where the same, the only difference being that the 02 and older was for mechanical brakes and the 03 and newer to run hydros.
when you buy bearings they sell 88-02 then 03-06, but i agree i think the carrier are the same except for brake mounting.
hmmm when I was looking at rear bearing the ones I was looking at where 88-06.....Pretty sure they are the same other wise you would not be able to swap 88-02 with 03-06 with the same axels.
Yeah the only differance from the two is the 03+ are made for hydro brakes, bearings are all the same.
