Its the dreaded "SPOOGE" and its the nature of the beast in two strokes.

Let me guess is it an fmf?I welded mine.Just tack it as its installed right now and then remove it burn a bead around it and reinstall it.

It has a stock main jet didn't needle has a fresh rebuild 20 over. Has a oil block off kit and put a cap on carb. No airbox. Fmf full exhust. I don't know how to make my own thread

first off u are lean as hell with that stock jet in there, with no lid and a/m exhaust u should be up in the 280 290 range. to make a thread you would hit the "engine" section then at the first page where all the threads are listed there is a icon that says " make new thread" click that, add a title then go to town describing your problems but like i said.. u are very very lean and need to rejet

i use "high temp copper permagasket" to seal the pipe to the flange, pull the pipe, coat the end with 1/4 -1/2 " layer, insert into flange and clean off the excess.
doesnt last forever but 1 tube provides numerous "splooge proofing's"

i also leakdown test while the pipe is off every few months to re-seal it
