Also, would this explain why some 4-strokes kill 2-strokes in lower gears, but when you get to the higher gears the 2-stroke if it has the room it will walk it...because the raw hp numbers??

I kill four strokes from bottom to top haha.

most drag races are won and lost in the first 60 feet.....from the tree to the 60 foot marker is the most important part of the run

an easy way to remember it is that horsepower is how fast you hit a wall, torque is how far you move it. thats how i used to remember the difference

in the 300' the bike with more torque will almost always win. You need enough torque to push the bike, but you also need a lot of horse power to go fast. Gearing is just as important too..

Take for example a rmk 700 vs an srx 700. Twins lunch HARD out of the hole, but once that srx starts to stretch its legs.... its game over for the rmk.
