im going to be putting a 320 main in my blaster and i was told if its fourstroking it means its rich and to keep going down jets until it runs perfect with no 4 stroking. so does this video apply to blasters, and do blasters do the same thing/sound?

I believe the reason for calling it four stroking, is because a too rich mixture seems to sound like it is firing every forth stroke.

If you have no room to do a WOT run, this is an acceptable way to get close to where you should be.

Although it is not the correct way to arrive at the optiumum jetting, one jet down from a babble or four stroking, will usually put you on the safe side.

You may loose some power from a rich mix, but it is a pretty safe way.

A plug chop is really the only way to confirm perfect jetting.

Very little power is lost by a little too rich mix.

I always run a little on the rich side, for peace of mind knowing that I could be safe.

^^^^exactly thats why i dont mind being rich, how rich do you thiink id be if its one jet under bogging and 4stroking

That is where I would leave it, one size under where it clears up and stops 4 stroking.

There is no way to tell, other than a plug chop, if you go down in size anymore than one, you may run lean.

Get it to operating temp, ride as hard as you can, and swap jets until the babble or 4 stroking clears up.

This will put you on the rich side, who knows how much, as I have said only a plug chop can confirm optimum jetting.
