how to spread hydrolic rear brake caliper?

do you need a special tool to push the piston back, in the caliper? to spread the rear hydrolic brakes? with new pads they arent open wide enough to fit back over the rotor.

this is word for what what my buddy thats working on my blaster asked me to ask. says he has a tool to do it for cars but he thinks its too big to use on the blaster's caliper


EDIT PROBLEM SOLVED

just put the old pads back in and stick a big screw driver between them then pry them back and forth. just make sure to open the reservoir so it don't build pressure against the pads. then put th new ones in and they should fit over the disc with room to spare

You can use a c-clamp to push the caliper back in.

that was the problem lol that screw was in the way
