how to polish injection pump cover??

on the right side of the injection the oil injection plastic side pump cover is all dull and really light colored black and fading, how do i get it back to the dark black color it used to be?? you can see the faded piece on my engine in my sig picture...

I was scratching my head when i seen this pop up, then i though he must of gotten an aluminum one. Not sure rubbing the plastic will bring the black color back!

ive used it on some other black plastic before

Bondo Restore Black 0800

If its plastic, you can use 3m plastic polish or novus 2, or even try mequirs plastic polish. it will restore the color and shine it up.

For heavy scratches, 600 grit, 800 grit, 1000 and 200 grit wet sand, should do you well. or

look online for the plastic polish kit, micro polish.

mine looked like yours so i sanded it with 320 and painted it black
