How to figure out cc.....?

My brother just picked up a 98' blaster for real cheap. It's in decent shape and we were told by the PO that it had a 240cc kit on it. My question is....how can I determine that without removing the head and inspecting the cylinder/piston or are there no other choices here??? I'll post some pics soon. Thanks all
 
Post pics if its a vitos 240 you could tell but if its a standard cylinder that is sleeved u may just have to pull the head off to check, it could be bored .40 over and he thinks that's 40cc extra lol

Most people actually do say that. I have a lot of blasters around me with 240's and 250's but i know they are only .4 and .5 over

Yup happens all the time. I don't think the people are trying to give false information they actually believe boring 40 over makes it a 240.
