You asked for it.....you got it! I took a stock Blaster cylinder head and cut .010 off of the sealing surface. This is what we call MILLING or CUTTING the head. I used a Clausing lathe, three jaw chuck and a mandrel that I made a long time ago. I used kerosine for a cutting fluid but mineral spirits work just as well. What you don't see in the vid is me boiling a plucked chicken and putting it in a stone pot, tossing in 14 toad eyes, stirring the mixture up till it boils and then sacrificing a small kitten to make it all work. Schools almost out . I really want to challenge some of the younger dudes to try this. You have all of the resources at your school to do this. Get some help from your teacher to make the mandrel or buy one. I want to see vids guys. If you're out of school, use the lathe where you work. For my bud Stephen in South Africa, show your bros the vid and tell them to get a sack. This is not hard. As a matter of fact it's easier than jetting your quad. I must stress this is not a squish type head and you can't take more than .030” off the surface without running a mix of race gas. I'll do another DIY on how to build a squish head shortly. Enjoy!
