a slight gap is ok on the smaller reeds as long as it is even. I believe boyesen says .5mm give or take a lil is normal.
the big reeds shpuld have no gap.

looks ok to me.

FWIW 80% of new power reeds or dual stage reeds dont sit flush right out of the package. because the first stage is so light they will close the slight gap when the piston moves from BDC to TDC

u my friend have a way with words. another great post. i was gonna say they look good but you give so much more to why they look good. i am not trying to be a smart ass i have read alot of your posts. you dont just give answers but reasons too I:I

I have the same reeds and they look the same way with that little gap in them. Its is normal I guess. I would clean them off tho which some intake cleaner or something , if you un screw them make sure you use a lot of loctite and the right torque.
