home made trailer??????

so for my trailer below i got for free with no floor a n a tail gate. i ended up cutting the 87lbs tail gate off cause my buddy who weights 360 lbs fell through the ramp so i said it had to go. so after that i used the tourch to cut more junk off an endede up taking off 217lbs of sh*t lol. then i decided to use 2x6 douglas fur treated boards that my fat buddy had sitting around. i had to go out an buy 2 new tail lights an plug an the bolts to bolt up the floor. so the whole thing only costed me under 30 bucks.

trailer frame - free from my boss at culligan

wood - free from doing farm work.

bolts an nuts - 10 bucks.

both tail lights - 14 bucks

wire harness - free from my brothers work

harness adapter - 4 bucks

so as you see it was deff worth it

ill get more pics sometime this week maybe tomarrow.

odd to see teh wood running perpendiculer to the frame rail... unless teh bracing under the trailer runs parrelel to the main frame rails of course.. but most trailers have main frame rails and then perpedicular "cross members" and then the boards run parrellel to the main frame rails..

my homemade trailer that i have my uncle made back in high school shop class and the idiot didn't a square so the whole thing is not stright it sucked when i had to replace the floor

that would suck. thats y im kinda glad how this one worked out. if i need to i can unbolt whatever board it is an cut it to 78 or 80" board to replace that board or boards

so teh braces under the trailer run longways huh? thats odd.. you'd think the stength would suffer from that but then again quads arent; very heavy..

yea it was a light duty trailer. when i seen that i was like huh. this is gonna take some time to do. it took me 2 days to gt all the wood cut at the right length an then drill the hole an bolt everything up. so i guess ill find out if it can hold the shee an the blaster in a couple weeks when i get the rest of my stuff moved out of the garuge since im moving. just sucks cause where im moving to dont have a gaurge so i gotta keep them at a buddys house. o well at least at his place i can go riding
