hmm trail bikes..

i just got done ridin with my buddy, hes got a ttr230, i think its a nice bike for trails, handles well and has pretty good low and mid range torque, but i do think it is a bit heavy for even a trail bike, but other than that hes never had any other flaws with it

The whole group of 125 2 stroke bikes are amazing trail bikes, I rode my friends' RM 125, it is fun on the trails and is also crazy fast when you hit the pavement. I believe its a perfect engine size and type for any riding.

A yz250 will make a great trail bike with a few modifications.First thing i'd do would be put a flywheel weight on it. And i can't say that i agree about a 125 being a good trail bike at all , i hated my old rm125 on the trails it spins tire everywhere, only has power when its screaming ect. If your seriouse about haveing a good trail bike you need to give that yz250 a little low end grunt.

Re: hmm bikes..

welll.. a 250 2 stroke is still a big bike but light.... and a weighted flywheel will give plenty of low end so you dont stall it out..

if herd ther crf230s are awsome trail bikes...

weird i know guys that trail ride with crf450s lol

i have a cr230, and theyre bangin for trail. especially with a lowend hotcam, prox titanium valves and a 3mil stroker crankI:I
