Hi! =]

I'm getting a 2001 blaster for my 16th as a project type deal. I was wondering if I could get some tips on it?

Everythings good except the right a arm, the frames a little tweaked, and I'm going to want to invest in some new shocks soon.

I was wondering if you guys could point me in the direction of some good brands for parts.. Nothing extremely crazy expensive though please.

Also, the retard that had it painted the brand new plastics and fmf exhaust with cheap spray paint. Tips for getting it off? =]

Thanks guys!

Well for one, you use the same smiley face I do. Never seen anyone else use it. lol But other than that, I would get that frame figured out or it will pull to the side. As for A-Arms, they will probably be one of the first things you will want to upgrade next to shocks as for suspension. But as for cheap upgrades, you can go to the Do It Yourself section and look at all of the different things you can do to get that Blasty ripping and tearing like never before. Welcome to the site and I hope you enjoy the Blaster for a long time. =]

Welcome dude!!!!!!!!!!! I would try gettin the paint off with maybe brake cleaner. i know it eats paint. on the exhaust you could use tailstrip paint remover. they have in in napa auto parts. but i don't think i would try it on plastic

Welcome and some great upgrades for suspension are a 400ex shock on the rear, direct bolt-on with ken oconnor bushings, and some banshee shocks up front for small budget and some works shocks for a good budget.
