I am going through the blaster now slowly, but surely.Cleaning as I go along. I used Mirraplate to polish up the plastics, has a nice shine now. (Yellow and Black)
No leaks on the engine at least.
Do you guys reckon it wil be a good idea to strip the carb though, its starts easy peasy, and it idles fine. No flat spots picked up in the rev range.
Why fix it if its not broken? Is there a trend of incorrect jetting on the carbs?
The only problem I picked up that really bothers me is on the rear axle, on the right hand side the guy has 3 tie straps between the brake disc, and the I would assume bearing? Any ideas?
I ll grap some picks over the weekend.
