Hey guys I was wondering what all mods I could do wuth a stock pipe? Can I shave my head an get it ported and polished? . So can someone help me out? what should I start with first?

The stock pipe is going to hinder any mod you do.

Some gain in power can be achieved by fitting a rechambered head.

Advancing the ignition 4 deg will bring the power on earlier on the pipe.

One can remove the air box lid and fit an aftermarket filter to allow better breathing, this may improve the power.

A plug chop is required if you alter the breathing in any way.

A pipe and a re-jet is the best option to improve the power, all other mods should come after a pipe!

I was thinkin bout puttin a full fmf on it! Another question. One of my bolts the hold the bottom part of my head has fallin off an I just relized it. How much damage do yall think it did? Ive rode it for a while. its leaked alot of oil there where it fell off!

If it is leaking it should be fixed before you start it again.

Any leak in a 2 stroke can be disastrous, it will cause a lean mix and fry the piston.

Replace that bolt/nut and leak test it.

If you fear damage has already been done, compression test and pull the header pipe off and look up the exhaust port for piston/ring damage.

u forgot DONT RIDE IT until it is fixed

Go for a pipe before porting. You might not even feel the porting with a stock puffer.

FMF will do you fine.

Like others said, dont ride it until you fix the leak. Pictures or a better description and we can help you fix it.

Welcome to the forum:D

I would post a picture but ive already taken my jug an head off! I need to replace my piston rings! Everything is stock on my bike im pretty sure what size are the rings an piston? How can you tell if pistin damage is done by looking at it.? The guy I bought it from ride it without an air filter! (Dumb) would that cayse my rings to go bad?

Welcome, Yes running it with no air filter will cause you rings to go bad. As well as you cylinder and piston. There are plenty of pictures on here of piston damage.

You can not simply put in new rings. The cylinder will need to be honed at least. If there is any damage to the cylinder having it bored will be needed and fitted with a new piston and rings.

No air filter is like running the piston over sand paper consistently, and it progressively gets worse because you will get all sorts of garbage in the bottom end eating bearings, eating rings, eating pistons.. Imagine being in the dustiest place you have ever ben without a dust mask.. Times that by thousands because that's how many times your engine takes a breath compared to you.. pretty nasty huh?!?! It could even start to glog the jets causing a lean mix.. All things not good.. While you have the piston off check the crank for play, (some side to side is normal) and look down inside and see if you see any smudge at the bottom of cases...

Tyanks guys this is a big help! What does it useually mean when gas is runnin outta my over flow on my carburetor?

you half to measure ring end gap,and dont mix up rings if you got stock piston you need stock rings visa versa, also bore of cylinder has to be measured,a shop might do it for free?? if you cant
