Here's how to clean your Carburetor yourself!

You will need a aerosol can of carb cleaner, star and flat screw driver and a pliers.


Once you have removed your Carb follow the following steps.

First remove your fuel bowl (4 screws)

Now remove your bowl.

Remove this plastic piece.

Now Remove your float by removing this pin.

Move the float and needle carefully.

Take out your main jet and washer

Reinsert the main jet slightly so that you can tap on it to get the nossle jet out

It should pop out like this

Remove your pilot jet

Now remove this screw

and remove the needle housing

Remove your air fuel Mix Screw
(when you put it back in, start with 1 full and half revolutions out then set it in from there)

Remove your choke

Remove this little jet

Now you left with this

This is where the cleaning comes in (I use this type of wire to clean the holes etc)

Clean every hole and jet you see with carb cleaner

Put it back together and your DONE!

Thx for this good info, also if you want to use a concentrated form of carb cleaner, use
its main ingreadient Acetone, can get it at lowes in paint section or even walmart
and if you want to crazy clean it look into getting an ultrasonic cleaner, cleans via sound threw cleaning solution, you can find one at harborfreight.
