got a 2002 blaster last night and spent all day trying to figure out why I'm losing power and not idling right I have taken the carb apart and made sure everything was good I changed the gear oil and gas I currently do not have a air box lid or a air filter cause it wasnt in when I got it I am going to get them just havnt yet any help would be greatly appreciated

There's at least one of your problems, STOP running it until you get those, or she's gonna blow from running lean.
what main jet is in there now ? and what if any other mods are there ? pipe ?
stock oil injection or mixing oil with fuel ? what ratio ?
any change in flow, in to or out of the engine, (any added intake air or aftermarket pipes that flow more exhaust out) the main jet must be increased to maintain the correct air/fuel ratio
get a lid, or at least an airfilter, and report back and we'll go from there
running with just a filter but no lid will need 1-2 sizes larger main jet
