Ok so I put my motor together and everything, now I'm.doing leak test. It takes about
10mins fr it to go down little less then 1lb. I found the leak and it The back left head boltbut it's really tiny leak. Wht should I do? Take the head off and clean the surfaces or what? And ifi take egghead off, do I need new crush gasket?
And that's with the exhaust leaking a little too. Can't completely seal that. Where my plug goes intothe flange.

i would do the heat cycles, retorque the head/base nuts,
then retest, it very well may seal up as the gaskets "set" and get re-torqued
1 pound over 10 minutes is really nothing, i'd run it

how many pounds are you using to test ???

alright heres my other question. i got everything together tonight, rdy for heat cycles. now since i live in an appartment complex, i have to do the cycles in my garage. (ima take back tires off incase police accuse me of riding it) its gonna be about 85 degrees. should i blow a fan onto it while im doing heat cycles, or just leave it. theres gonna be no air circualtion in garage. never is

I would not worry about the motor getting hot, I would be more worried about the Carbon Monoxide poisioning and the effect it will have on your health.

For your sake make sure all that exhaust fume goes out the door.

you want the engine to heat up to full oprerating temps, and it does not matter how fast or slow that happens, as long as it does.
fans have been used between heat cycles to cool it down quicker to speed the whole process up, you want it to completely cool between cycles.
then retorque those haed and base bolts, and leakdown test it again.
like pops said, maybe use the fan to "exhaust" the fumes while running it ?
and be sure to lightly vary the rpm's during each heat up.
