HELP my ball joints are spinning and cant tighten my nut

i recently installed burgard a arms and hydro brakes and when i put my lock nut on my ball joint, my ball joint just spins and i cant tighten my lock nut. how do i tighten them?

air impact or possibly air wrech, ya gotta get the nut spinning faster that the ball joint can, i had success once with a socket on my battery drill, but have also had to jam the tie rod with a bar, to jam the ball when trying to use just a hand wrench

Push the ball joint boot gently and use a pair of needle nose vice grips to hold the ball joint and tighten it you'll need to remove the grips as it starts to press the spindle on and then the spindle actually grips like a mofo and just ram it home , and use some lube man .

i cant get an impact on there nor do i even own one. but i will try to use some needle nose vice grips. i dont own any so i might have to go to my local hardware store.

make sure the threads are nice and clean with no burrs. then push the ball joint into a "corner" hence holding it in place with some friction as mentioned above pliers will help, just dont mess up threads with them
