Hi my name is mario i am very new to all this . I bought a 1997 blaster for 650 it runs but i need help if anyone is from around the area that could help teach my a couple things i would appreciate any help i can get.I got a DG muffler and got an 03 rear hub with rear hydro brake conversion . And i rebuilt the carb but im not sure i did it right

hey mario, welcome, johnstown here, right down the street, good idea askin questions, you can also do searches here to find info, when you rebuilt the carb, did you get it put on yet, does it run the same???

im actually moving to mars pa and the carb is back on but it is reving real high i tried adjusting the air/fuel screw and it seems to idle good but when i start it up again it revs like its full throttle agian

make sure your slide is in right, it only goes in one way, and that the cable isn't bent or pinched somewhere, and before you blow it up, i'd have to offer to come fix it for you

do you think it could have a air leak ?
i grew up in penn hills and my mom still lives there.

if it is an air leak it would rev up high when you first kick it over but you said it idled good??do you have the t.o.r.s removed? and welcome to the forum!

im looking for one i converted the rear brakes and need the master cylinder welded
