has anyone ever used twist throttle grips but without a twist throttle? if i just used a LOT of superglue and grip glue would it work?

iv got twist grips on my blaster with the thumb throttle. i put insulating black tape about 2 layers where the grip covers then put grip glue on the tape and its solid. i just cut a part of it as my thumb throttle was catching.
I don't see why it wouldn't....I would do as motocrossguy said and wrap the bars in electrical tape to tighten it up.

At the risk of sounding stupid..............Why not just buy ATV grips in the first place? Even better idea is to glue your gloves to the bars to save money on grips.

If you bought the wrong grips should take them back, or sell them to a friend with a bike.
i didint buy the wrong ones i just dont have money for new ones since im switching to thumb throttle
And now the rest of the story. At this point the worst that can happen is it wont work.
I guess you could apply a Presidential Sollution and wrap enough duct tape on it to take up the difference, the glue grip on.
