Hey guys, I just picked up my first quad, a yamaha blaster (obviously).
The guy said it's a "250cc" 98. Well, I did some research before I bought it, so I KNOW it's a 200cc (or at least, that's what it came stock).

I got it for $900 with hydraulic brakes already on it. Talked him down from $1200. Couldn't spend that much when I've still got a Camaro to play with as well.

I tried to find a sticky on how to make a proper introduction..didn't see one.

I live in Central Indiana. The only public place that I know of here to ride is Badlands but I also have access to a few private properties that would be great for riding.

Anyway, I'm not new to forums, I've got decent grammar and spelling and I know when to keep my mouth shut on things I have no idea about.

I'm about to post a topic on brakes, hopefully you guys can help me out.

Welcome, man! Lets see some pics! Of the Blaster, of course, though I'm sure some of us would also like to see the Camaro.

Any questions, just ask! Be careful how much you work on your Blaster...modding gets addictive (and expensive!) in a hurry. I started out with a fun quad that ran well enough from the factory, and now I've got $3,000.00 tied up in my ride and haven't quit yet! Don't say we didn't warn you! :D

It's a 95 Z28, 6 speed with the LT1.
Motor is currently sitting in my garage, pulled it during the fall for a .030 over and to put in the LT4 hot cam kit.
The rims are soon to be taken off , sandblasted, and powder coated black.

It shouldn't be too wallet breaking, I just figure initial startup cost of quad + helmet with occasional repairs. I'm not planning on racing or anything

I'm trying to find some buddies who have a trailer hitch and off road vehicles of their own so we can load up on my trailer and go riding !

I'm itching to get on this thing and go! Gotta get those brakes fixed first though.

Next week we're gonna put the Camaro back together so I wanna get some riding in before that.

nice and welcome and i thought that i wouldn't need anything on mine but it does get addicting fast anything you need help on just post and someone should be able to help!
