Sewage Drain
So today after work i went hunting with my dad. Sat out there on my stand for about 3 hours. I saw 2 doe, and a spike but decided to pass on them and wait for something bigger. So just as it was getting dark, i saw a 4-pointer passing through and started to eat at the corn pile about 17 yards away from my stand. I figuired it was probably going to be the only buck i would see for the rest of the night so I took the shot with my bow. Nailed him right in the heart and he just dropped. SUCCESS!!! Heres a pic! Hope you guys enjoy!

Oh, and, yes, thats me

sweet, i have yet take one wiith a bow, just rifle i passed a 4 pointer last year and i regret it, didnt see anymore for the rest of the day, but nice buck, what kinda bow do you have? i shoot a hoyt pro force

well if his hunting situation is anything like mine, which i hunt on our own 300 acres of private land they never get the chance to grow any bigger, say they go over our property line for a day, they might not come back, they might get shot, they might get hit by a car, yea we have had a couple of big boys taken at our place, MONSTER 8 pointers, couple good tens and even one 13 pointer but its all just a risk you take, you pass a buck saying im gonna give him another year. well they is a VERY very slim chance that deer will still be around, every body gets so excited and trigger happy to see a buck, they dont ever try and manage a deer population

but anyway back to your deer, nice buck, i still wish i would have shot that 4 pointer i seen last year i envy your buck........i hope to get one during muzzleloader season, thats when our rut is in FULL swinger

awsome dude, any buck you can get with a bow is a trophy,
and sheeblast, just because the horns arent huge doesnt mean it isnt a mature deer, some of them stay that size horns all their lives

good kill bigboy !!!!!!!!!!!!!

yea i totally get what ur saying. i just got my bow license on tuesday but have had the bow for over a year and have been practicing for months and when i took my test i out shot 6 other guys there. my 3 arrows had only spread 3" at 20 yards. so im good as hell with my accuracy. and i dont have my rifle/muzzleloader license yet cuz i dont have a muzzleloader in order to take the test but i have my shotgun license and a remington 870 express 20 gauge and use it all the time during the rut (only during shotgun season obviously)

the kids 13, and he got a decent buck little buck hes proud of... id be proud of my son if he shot that...i could see if he was a 40 yr old thats hunted for decades....just give some credit once in awhille!

thanks.... its my first buck with a bow and i was ecstatic when i got it but i cant even take it to a taxidermist or a butcher cuz i dont have enough money, sheeblast. maybe you should just shut your mouth and stop being so negative
anyway, freek, thanks... ps. i f**ing love your blaster

yea my dad told me that its really not that worth it to send it to a butcher cause its not like the entire deer is good meat, i only prefer the back straps and the loins..... probably the most tender part of the venison.... but yea ive done it b4, last year i butchered my own deer, i used my blaster actually to skin it, like this:
not as easy with a blaster, but you get the idea....
