good deal?

yea, regardless of the fact that it isnt a "240cc" blaster its in awesome condition and runs great. for what i got it for i got a deal. i have a stock 01 and it does not keep up with it so im satisfied. id be more worried about the whole nine lives thing if parts for expensive for these blasters so when that happends ill put a actual bbk on it

your if its at 67.25 right now then your fine you got 4 more to go plus the one your on right now, if you jet the bike properly and leak test it every often and let it warm up properly that topend your on right now will last you a LONG time someone on here is still on the stock bore from the 90's

I googled the part number, it shows to be a 67.5mm top end kit. I wouldn't consider it bad news. Unless it was a bought 240cc cylinder, it was just resleeved by who knows who. I'd rather have no engine work than engine work done by anyone in my area. A friend of mine had his CR250 engine sleeved earlier this year. They were 35 miles from the truck when engine died. When he tore it down he found the sleeve had spun and damaged the cylinder beyond being repaired. That was from the engine shop considered to be the best in our small town. I had a cylinder bored at a motorcycle race shop, who specializes in MX engine builds, they didn't bother with little things like chamfering the ports. One of the best things about this forum is that if someone does crap work or any kind of bad dealings, it will be known.

well I live like 20 mins away from ken O'Connors shop so any of my future rebuild will be through him when the time cones since all I hear is good things...
