I think im gonna go all out on my bike, i want to put a hot rods 4mm stroker crank in it but have some questions. i know i need to trench the cases for this but what does that mean? and i want to port it, but first i need to know if my 30mm carb will be enough. will rejeting be necissary. and im also thinking about some cylinder head work. but if my carb isent big enough then i dont think i will have the money. thanks
 
We have a hotrods 4mil on the shelf for sale. I'll have to check what we need out of it. Trenching the cases involves machining the crankcase larger to accept the longer stroke, I charge $75 for this mod. Hit me up with what all of your other mods are, your elevation, the fuel you plan to run and your riding style, I can calculate your ideal carb size based on this info. Let me know if you'd like a quote on the work.

all the mods are in my sig. and i might be interested but i would have to save up some loot. also is this setup reliable?
 
form what kennedy power told me when i was up at his shop there isnt much of a perfomance difference between the +3 and +4
 
Yeah Dude, Just get the +3 Vitos Stroker. Its Cheaper to do it. If there is any hp difference its only gonna be like 1 or 2hp. pointless. your still gonna have a badass blaster......better than mine at least hahah

Seriously though..................
If you think about it, on a small bike like the Blaster, let's say you have a smok'n 40hp Blaster. An extra 2 HP is a 5% power increase. And more stroke=more torque.
If Wildcard could get him the right deal, I'd jump on the biggest cc build I could afford.

Deffinetly give Brandon a call. I couldn't be happier with my experiences so far! I haven't sent him anything yet but the plan is to tear the top end down this afternoon and get it to him this week. The man knows his sh*t!
 
i was originally going to buy my crank at the stealership and i dident think they would sell vitos stuff. but i think im going to go with the vitos 3+ but isent there some modds to the head that needs to be done? and is the website trustable(very dumb question blame my dad).
 
you forgot a new pipe. FMF are not much better than stock

im not rich, and i saw a good difference from and fmf so dont post sh*t about them if you never used them,and its a brand new pipe so its not gonna happen. quick and simple question is my carb big enough.
 
if it was me... I would spend the money on porting/higher compression, pipe& silencer. that should be the most power increase for cheap. carb is ok for now, you can upgrade it later, same with reeds.

at some point your going to be making more power than you can really use, and that is just wasting $$ to me.

Your 30mm won't damage anything, ideal carb would be 32-34mm but the 30 will work fine. Too small of carb will hurt peak performance a little, but I'd allways rather be undercarbed than overcarbed. Vitos' 3mil are $169 through us and require the use of a spacer plate or head modification and porting.
