getting sued

i would never in a million years think that my friends parents would sue us. my parents were friends with his parents and we had a lot in common.

my friend and i were dickin around in the woods making trails for our atv's and dirtbikes. when we were done he hitched a ride on my honda recon. he fell off of it for what ever reason and hit his head. yeah sure there was a lump but it wasn't like he was in a coma. so his f**cking scum ass douche bag parents come over and take him to the hospital to make sure he didn't have a concussion. he didn't. i'm sure the x-ray or what ever the hell they did wasn't that much money. they have a nice house and good jobs. its not like they're poor. so at football practice i saw his dad talking to my mom. when practice ended i asked what they were talking about and she said that he was asking for insurance info. my dad called him later that night and basically he got the mesage that they were seuing us. i'm surprised the phone conversation was gentleman like! so you never know who your friends are until something like this happens. they were nice people on the outside but on the inside, they're heartless ass holes. i think i'm going to ride my atv to his house and pee in their driveway.

but why wasn't he wearing a helmet?
and i am guessing his parents need house and car payment money.

and my dad and his dad had an agreement if ANYTHING happned over here or there the owner of the property is not responsible. its not in writing though.

and who in the hell would have expected him to fall off going 5 miles per hour? i'm very concious about wearing a helmet.

i'm studying law and by the looks of it, they wont be suing you for much if anything at all, the judge is going to ask your friend, why wasn't he being responsible and wearing a helmet like atv's have it written on them

yes they are sueing our insurance. it will be a huge strike against us. and luni, i was driving the recon but he asked for a ride. and right on the fender it says no passengers. i always disregarded that. but i guess its there for a reason.

people are asses. they need to stop being so greedy and get lives.

i mean, we had dinner over there about 2 weeks ago! they were our friends

and if it happened on your land, home insurance should cover this type of thing. have your parents look into that.

He should have been wearing a helmet. And he should have been sitting in a legal 2 up seat. And he shouldn't be that stupid.

what they are suing you for.
where it happened? your property or somewhere else

you was wearing your helmet, just say you was.
if they are suing you for more than hospital bills, saw you was driving away when he then jumped on the back on the ATV and in the process, it caused you to give it more gas from him hitting your elbow. when this happened, he fell off then hitting his head.

if it happened on your property and they just was hospital bills, let your home insurance take care of it.

i'm not sure my parents are trying to keep it private so none of their friends find out. some where around $2500?? its complete sh*t. i might understand if it was for like $75,000 for life support or something but its not.

i have another story about them too. they have horses. and only have like a 1 acre field. my moms friend always makes stuff up so i never believe a word she says but she was telling my mom that they had another incident like this. they wanted to buy a 5 acre field behind the neighbor hood but bordering other neighbors property. all of the neighbors said no because they dont want large smelly animals and sh*t laying all around. so they went to the county and asked them for permission even when the whole neighborhood said no. they have a missing link somewhere i swear

if it is only for $2500, that sounds about the price for some test.
but usually health insurance covers a a good percentage of the tests.
