Hi guys im getting a new blaster soon. Just wanna know some maintenance tips and what to do to keep it running great. I rode my friends 06 the other day and it would take off fine etc but when im in 4th it and hit th gas it would just bog. Did that on most of the gears. Maybe cause of poor care? what should i do to keep my blasty running great. Scared of breaking it because im a hard rider. 8-|

im racing a stock blaster and i dog the living sh*t out of it but it never gave any bother i clean the filter aftre every race and change the spark plug and oil every 2 races

if u clean the filter after every run and change the wearing parts at the right time it wond give any problems

but just to know 2 strokes need to be rebult more often than 4 strokes but 2 strokes are way way cheaper to rebuild but as long as there good compression it will be grand

I've always thought is was good housekeeping to hold the throttle wide open for long periods of time, mix with wilderness & enjoy!

Just keep an eye on the compression, make sure the pre-mix is good, lube the chain ride like hell til something breaks.

I wish there was a "like" button...

Just remember you have 6 gears in the gearbox, Unlike my daughter who grenaded her motor bcuz she thought she could redline the crap out of the motor until it was throwin shrapnel. Then she realized she screwed up.

Clean the carb, taking it comepletly apart and make sure you can see thru the jets. Either soak it or spray, especially all small openings. Clean fuel petcock and check that fuel cap vents and vent tube is clear. I wouldn't run it until you get it running right cause if it's lean you'll blow it up. What does the plug look like???
