hello, I need quick help, ive been told that if you u pthe size in BOTH sprockets it will be the same as like leaving it the same, is this true? also i mostly do trail riding,so i should go with 13/42, right? and stepping out of topic for a quick second, do i need to rejet when i put v-force reeds.Thank you

it will make it go faster depending on your current rear front gear ratio
(if the rear sprocket is larger already your top speed will increase)

what are you looking to do? accelerate faster or have a higher top speed?

acceleration,cuz in trail irding top speed isnt that much needed,i read in rockymouantain catalog and bigger rear sprocket ups the acceleration and bigger front sprocket up the top speed.

but try no to make the rear to big because you will hit it off of things like rocks

drop it in the front

yea,im running 13/40, which is stock, im thinking 13/42

if you take one tooth off the front it will be equal to adding about three in the back

wow why a blaster has plenty of bottom end... anything put in a 14 front and gear up with some 20's

20" tires run GOOD with 13/41 gearing, you guys must be running TINY! rear tires if you're running a 14 tooth front sprocket!
