front wheel flip question

so it makes it wider and everything but i noticed today when you flip them it makes your front drums out in the open and unprotected and when theyre not flipped the wheels protect them

My wheels were always flipped on all 3 of my blasters and my front brake drums never took any damage, I would say don't worry about it.
