front hub problem

when i went to put the wheel on i went to tighten one of the wheel lugs and the bolt that the lug is on spins with the lug.... so im gonna say that the piece that goes through the hub then through the wheel that has the lug mounted on it is stripped.... shoulda never let my brother ride it

get yourself a used hub for the best fix, otherwise pull out the stud and use a little jb weld to hold it in place

i think i need a hub.... i had to use a metal grinder but i got it out... the threads inside the hub r stripped =[... i guess i need a new 1

there arent' any threads in the hub, the stud should have a knurled end that presses in

umm.... the stud had like.... grooves going left and right as ur sitting on the quad.... and i guess i tourqued the nut down too much and it stripped those.... but instead of stripping the 1's on the stud it stripped the 1's in the hub

yes, that's called a knurl. some epoxy should be able to fix it

alright... i still have to buy a new stud as i said.... i got kinda angry that it wouldnt see things my way.... so i did what any1 wud do..... grabbed the metal grinder and eliminated the problem =]/=[
